    the critical play for that timeframe was the parker/bosh pick and roll where martin stole it, and got a clear path call. basically a 5 point swing in favour of the nuggets. if parker took that shot, which was open, and hit it, its a 1 possession game as apposed to a 3 possession one.

  3. khandor Says:

    Parker’s decisions during that possession:

    1) Not to pass to Bash;
    2) Not to shoot the open jumper himself; and
    3) The Post entry pass he threw to Bosh that was intercepted by Martin

    were major contributors to the loss.

    i was actually very surprised. i can’t recall a play in the last 2 seasons where he made such mistakes with the game on the line. 3 in one possession to be precise.

    i distinctly remember yelling at bosh to roll harder, almost seemed like he didnt want to go. he still should hve shot it, he had all the space he needed to get a good look up.

    don’t look now, philly beat boston to move 1/2 game up for 6th, and a raptor loss tomorrow night against the pistons (who won with tonight with the help of some really suspect officiating) will be a full game behind. happy happy joy joy…

  5. khandor Says:

    Kenyon Martin did a solid job “Showing Early on the Pick” and then “Recovering back to Bosh”.

    Either a Pull-up J or a decisive Middle Drive into the Lane (to get fouled) would have been a better play for Parker to make. Why he rushed the Post Entry Pass to Bosh and tried to throw it on the high side to begin with … is anybody’s guess.

    The way the 76ers & the Wiz are playing right now … it’s going to be a fight to hold onto 6th place in the EC standings.
